Snow is forecast for this weekend. Winter is officially here. But perhaps there’s a reason Denmark is ranked one of the happiest countries in the world. They practice hygge. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, it’s meant to describe a cozy, contented mood evoked by comfort and conviviality. This is done by finding family building, fun activities that keep you warm inside. Which leads me to puzzles. They are the perfect group activity to lead that list of hygge examples. Just picture spreading one out on a table alongside a cozy fire on a cold day. Extra points if it’s a Bookworm Puzzle! Here are a few of my favorite bookworm puzzles below. Hopefully they get you inspired. Enjoy!
Jane Austen Puzzle
This one was a toughy, but so worth it for the Jane Austen lover! It’s a 1,000 piece puzzle featuring famous Jane Austen couples, quotes and Pemberley estate. The pieces are sturdy and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful. This is a perfect choice for any bookworm puzzler.

Banned Book Puzzle

This one is extra special for me. A percentage of all sales go to PEN America which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving free speech and freedom of expression. This organization fights against book bans and educational gag orders. See more about their organization and mission here. And check out this beautiful 500 piece puzzle that features over 65 books that have been banned at one time or another. Curate your own banned book bucket list and celebrate freedom of expression!
Harry Potter Puzzle by New York Puzzle Company
We are huge Harry Potter fans in this house and this puzzle was a definite hit! Featuring all the book covers from the series, it has beautiful colors and is sturdy quality. I also love this company- New York Puzzle Company, in general. They have a ton of other Harry Potter puzzles as well as a Penguin Random House classic covers series, an old New Yorker magazine covers and an amazing National Geographic series. They really have something for everyone and their artwork is exquisite!

Appalachian Trail Puzzle by True South Puzzle Company

This one is not a bookworm puzzle, but it’s near and dear to my heart. Over the course of a few years, my dad hiked the Appalachian Trail. When my son was old enough to understand, we got ourselves an Appalachian Trail puzzle so he could follow along with “Pa”. My son is obsessed with geography and all things states, national parks, etc. So, the True South Puzzle Company has become a staple in our house. I love that they’re a small company that supports indie artists and my son loves that they focus solely on U.S. geography. This year’s Winter Break project was actually a Virginia state puzzle. If you’re into beautiful artwork and U.S. history/geography this puzzle company is a can’t miss!
Thanks for joining me this week! I hope I got those puzzle creative juices flowing for some hygge examples. For more bookworm puzzle ideas, make sure you check out my Bookworm Puzzle List on my Amazon Storefront page! Enjoy!
